Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, 2023
between 1:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. in The Peak. Parents will have the allotted window of
time to come to campus and meet with teachers. Appointments are not needed.
The following teachers will be available only during the times listed below. Please
contact the below teachers to schedule a conference at another time if the times below
do not work for you.

Fall Intersession
Are you looking for a way to raise your end of the first quarter grade to an 80%? Mica
Mountain Students with a 79% or below in Math, English, Science or Social Studies will
have the opportunity to improve their grade.
No AP, honors or dual enrollment courses will be offered.
Students will focus on one content area per day, therefore when the student leaves at
the end of each day they will be done with that content area. Students will be using Vail
Teacher-Created courses in Schoology which will focus on 1st quarter objectives. There
will be a content-area teacher available each day for students and direct instruction will
be provided.
Students with IEP and 504 accommodations will have a certified teacher and
paraprofessional available to assist and modify instruction for their specific needs.
In person attendance is mandatory.

Social Studies: Monday, September 25th: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Math: Tuesday, September 26th: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
English: Wednesday, September 27th: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Science: Thursday, September 28th 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Grading:
The grade earned in Intersession will be averaged with the grade earned in the 1st quarter.
This newly averaged grade will then become the official 1st quarter grade, up to an

Diaper Drive
Help us reach our district goal of 20,000 diapers. Diapers can be dropped off in the front
office or we will have a drop-off box during conferences.
