Congratulations to our CHS Symphonic Band for earning a Superior rating at their Area Festival performance. Superior is the highest rating a judge can give an ensemble and by earning this rating, they have now qualified for the State Festival in April!

We care about our Cats! Our School Resource Officer, Deputy Pruett will be hosting safe driving lessons for our young drivers. Classes will be held in the 300 Workspace during Power Up. Objective of the Class: To foster safe driving habits among our Cats, incorporating lessons on parking lot etiquette, road safety guidelines, school zone regulations and more. Our Navy JROTC marksmanship team took 1st Place for the Sporter rifle at the Navy National Championship at Anniston, AL. Cienega continues to be a powerhouse sports school! ⚽️🏀🤼 Check out these awesome recent sports victories and awards!! Mark Aros (boys soccer), Tony Torres (girls soccer), and Jason Apodaca (boys basketball) won 5A Sonoran region coaches of the year. Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, and Boys Basketball are all 5A Sonoran Region Champs Boys Basketball made it to their 2nd consecutive Open Division Tournament. The Girls Soccer team is moving on to the Elite 8 this Saturday at 12 pm at CHS. They won their 5th straight region title this year! Boys Wrestling will have 8 wrestlers competing for the Division 2 State Championship in Phoenix starting today. Girls Wrestling will have 4 wrestlers competing for the Division 1 State Championship in Phoenix starting tomorrow. Girls Basketball is playing Paradise Valley in the 5A State playin game 2/15 @ Paradise Valley.
